Luiz DeBasto Designs has revealed Project Quest, a striking new 70-metre explorer yacht concept developed in collaboration with renowned German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen. Blending long-range capability with contemporary luxury, the concept is designed for owners seeking global exploration without compromising on style or comfort.
Featuring a bold metallic blue hull and superstructure, Project Quest stands out with its aggressive, modern profile, sweeping sheerline, and expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing that maximises natural light and panoramic ocean views.
The full-beam main deck includes a spacious saloon and dining area that seamlessly connects to the aft deck, while a private owner’s suite forward offers a California king-size bed, his-and-hers en-suite bathrooms, and optional fold-out terraces on both sides. A VIP suite is also located on the main deck, with four additional guest cabins on the lower deck, bringing total guest accommodation to 12. Crew quarters provide space for up to 16 crew members.
Designed for both adventure and relaxation, Project Quest features a wellness spa, skylounge, alfresco dining area, sundeck whirlpool, generous lounging spaces, and a touch-and-go helipad. The yacht also boasts a large garage with side-loading access, integrated 10-ton cranes, and capacity for two 12.8-metre tenders, making her fully equipped for extended expeditions.
