The second hull of the Amels 80 series, Netto II, has entered sea trials in the North Sea, marking a significant step toward her delivery later this summer. Built by Damen Yachting, the 79.8-metre superyacht showcases the continued evolution of the shipyard’s flagship Limited Editions range.

From Spec Build to Signature Yacht
Construction of Netto II began on speculation, with the yacht sold shortly after the model’s debut in 2022. Initial build works took place in Romania before the yacht was transferred to the Netherlands for outfitting.
Launched earlier this year, Netto II stands out with her striking “dolphin blue” metallic hull, complemented by a platinum bootstripe and a crisp white superstructure—an identity that links her to her predecessor while reinforcing a distinctive visual signature.
Design Collaboration and Custom Features
The Amels 80 platform brings together leading design expertise, with exterior styling by Espen Øino and interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Additional creative input from JQB Design contributes to select bespoke elements onboard.

While much of the yacht remains private, standout custom features include a speakeasy-style bar inspired by a 1960s casino atmosphere, highlighting the level of personalization increasingly expected by experienced owners.

Flagship Features of the Amels 80
Designed for both comfort and versatility, Netto II offers a range of signature features, including:
- A 200-square-metre sundeck with an oversized jacuzzi
- A dedicated owner’s deck for enhanced privacy
- A foredeck helipad convertible into a sports court
- A beach club with three unfolding terraces
- A wellness area complete with gym, hammam and sauna
A standout architectural element is the glass-bottom pool on the main deck, which filters natural light into the beach club below, enhancing the connection between indoor and outdoor living.
Performance Meets Precision
With a volume of 2,175GT, the yacht accommodates up to 14 guests across seven cabins, supported by a crew of 21.

According to project manager Stefan Regtvoort, the sea trials phase represents a crucial moment where all onboard systems are tested and refined under real-world conditions—ensuring the yacht performs seamlessly as a fully integrated platform.
A Strong Pipeline for Amels
Netto II follows the delivery of the first Amels 80, Pangea, and forms part of a strong order book for the shipyard, which currently has multiple units in build across the series.
As the Amels 80 line continues to gain traction, Netto II reinforces the model’s appeal: a balance of proven platform efficiency with deep levels of customization, tailored for a new generation of experienced yacht owners.
