CVC Capital Partners Agrees to Sell D-Marin to InfraVia Capital Partners

-

CVC Capital Partners has announced an agreement to sell its stake in D-Marin, one of Europe’s leading premium marina operators, to InfraVia Capital Partners, marking a significant new chapter for the rapidly expanding marina network.

Since acquiring D-Marin in 2020, CVC has overseen an ambitious growth strategy that transformed the company into a leading marina platform across Europe and the wider EMEA region. During this period, D-Marin expanded beyond its traditional presence in Turkey, Croatia, Greece and the UAE into new markets including Spain, Italy, France, Malta and Albania, while investing heavily in digital innovation and customer experience.

Today, D-Marin operates 28 premium marinas across nine countries, offering approximately 14,300 berths, including around 1,000 superyacht berths, as well as managing 12 professional boatyards that service more than 2,500 yachts annually.

CVC highlighted the company’s remarkable transformation under the leadership of CEO Oliver Dörschuck, citing significant improvements in operational excellence, customer experience and digital capabilities that have positioned D-Marin as the market leader in premium marina services.

Under its new ownership, InfraVia Capital Partners plans to support D-Marin’s continued expansion across the Mediterranean and other strategic markets. The investment firm sees strong long-term opportunities driven by increasing demand for premium marina infrastructure, limited waterfront development opportunities and the continued growth of the global yachting industry.

Oliver Dörschuck welcomed the new partnership, noting that InfraVia shares D-Marin’s long-term vision and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the company’s next phase of growth.

The transaction underscores the increasing investor confidence in the marina sector, with premium waterfront infrastructure continuing to attract significant private equity interest as demand for high-quality yachting destinations continues to grow across Europe and the Mediterranean.
