Benetti Launches Two Hybrid B.Now 67M Superyachts

Italian shipyard Benetti has announced the launch of two new superyachts from its B.Now 67M series, marking an important milestone for the brand with the first units from the line delivered with hybrid propulsion. The two 67-metre yachts, Symmetry and Dagger, were launched within just three weeks of each other, highlighting Benetti’s sustained production momentum.

Both steel and aluminium new builds feature exterior design by RWD, Benetti’s long-standing collaborator across the entire B.Now range. Interior design duties were entrusted to two renowned studios, with Reymond Langton Design responsible for Symmetry and Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design shaping the interiors of Dagger.

Commenting on the significance of the hybrid configuration, Daniela Petrozzi, Sales Director at Benetti, noted a clear shift in owner expectations. “Owners are no longer looking just for a yacht, but for a more conscious and authentic way to experience the sea,” she said. “These launches demonstrate how market demand is evolving toward yachts that offer advanced technological autonomy and reduced environmental impact, without compromising on comfort.”

Petrozzi added that the true value of today’s large yachts lies in achieving balance. “Steel construction excellence combined with propulsion systems that deliver quieter, more sustainable living on board is now central to the ownership experience.”

According to Benetti, the hybrid propulsion system is designed to significantly reduce environmental impact while minimising vibration and noise both underway and at anchor. The system integrates main engines, generators and a battery pack, operating in variable synergy depending on the cruising profile. This allows owners and captains to select the most efficient configuration for each scenario: engines can generate electricity, generators can assist propulsion, and batteries can absorb peak loads or provide extended silent operation. An advanced shaft line with variable pitch propellers further enhances efficiency and dynamic response.

In terms of exterior lifestyle, both yachts are equipped with Benetti’s signature Oasis Deck, developed in collaboration with RWD. The concept is defined by its infinity pool and fold-out side terraces, creating a seamless, open-plan connection between interior and exterior spaces at sea level.

While the two yachts share a unified exterior profile, their interiors express distinct identities. Symmetry, designed by Reymond Langton Design, features a warm and inviting atmosphere with pale tones and carefully curated detailing. The yacht includes ten bespoke decorative elements, ranging from custom fabrics and lacquered metals to textile artworks, with a standout chandelier crafted from “ice-effect” crystal glass.

By contrast, Dagger’s interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design embrace a more linear and contemporary aesthetic. Natural tones and nine different wood types define the spaces, while the owner’s passion for art has transformed several areas into private galleries. Sculptural displays and recessed, spotlit niches showcase a significant collection of paintings and artworks throughout the yacht.

The B.Now 67M series continues to gain traction following the delivery of the first unit, Iryna, in April 2025. Benetti currently has 58 yachts under construction or on order, underlining the shipyard’s strong market position. The yard also recently revealed interior details of another B.Now 67M, Lady Estey, featuring Gatsby-inspired interiors, also designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.
