Azimut Launches Flagship Grande 44M Ahead of Cannes Debut

-

Italian shipyard Azimut has launched its new flagship Grande 44M in Viareggio, with the seventh hull already sold ahead of her official world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.

Designed by Alberto Mancini with interiors by m2atelier, the 44-metre superyacht introduces an innovative four-deck layout that transforms the upper deck into a private owner’s sanctuary, offering flexible spaces for dining, fitness or relaxation.

The Grande 44M also features Azimut’s advanced Mild Hybrid propulsion system, developed with Asea Nautica, allowing the yacht to remain at anchor in complete silence and with zero emissions for several hours. Solar panels and extensive carbon fibre construction further enhance efficiency, helping reduce COâ‚‚ emissions by up to 30% compared to conventional yachts of similar size.

Combining cutting-edge technology, sustainable innovation and highly customizable living spaces, the Grande 44M represents a new benchmark for luxury yacht design and reinforces Azimut’s commitment to the future of low-emission yachting.
