Lürssen has secured the sale of its latest ultra-large custom superyacht, the 122.5-metre Project Elusive, with delivery scheduled for 2030. The new build is already under construction at the German shipyard’s facilities in Bremen, reinforcing Lürssen’s position as one of the world’s leading builders of landmark superyachts.
The sale was announced by Moran Yacht & Ship, which will oversee the project from construction through final delivery, ensuring the yacht is completed to the owner’s exact specifications.
While the yacht’s exterior and interior designers remain confidential, Project Elusive will feature an impressive 5,500 GT of internal volume, a 16.8-metre beam, and a 4.4-metre draught. Accommodation will welcome 22 guests across 11 luxurious cabins, offering exceptional space and comfort for extended cruising.
The project will be managed by Sean Moran, Head of New Construction at Moran Yacht & Ship, whose team will supervise every stage of the build, from technical specifications to sea trials.
Construction updates are expected to be released as the yacht progresses toward her 2030 delivery.
Project Elusive continues the successful collaboration between Lürssen and Moran Yacht & Ship, following some of the industry’s most iconic superyachts, including the 141.6m Nord, 122m Kismet and 115.1m Ahpo. Earlier this year, the brokerage also announced the sale of Project Omega, another 122.5-metre Lürssen superyacht scheduled for delivery in 2029.
